About Betty Cohen

Betty Cohen, M.S., NCC, MCC has been active in the profession of helping others for over 20 years. She is a dedicated career counselor who has personally experienced first-hand the frustration of not being in a good career match, and finally the joy of finding her true career passion in counseling. As a result, her approach to those who are unhappy with their careers is one that offers empathy, understanding, and complete support. She has also committed her practice to easing and making doable the process of identifying a meaningful career outcome and motivating individuals to take action to realize their goals.

Betty has an M.S. Degree in Counseling. She is also a National Certified Counselor, Master Career Counselor, and is licensed by the Industrial Commission of Arizona. She has completed additional training that qualifies her to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, and Self-Directed Search in her practice; these are just several of many instruments and exercises that she uses when doing self-assessment work with clients.

She has a private practice on the San Francisco Peninsula and East Bay, and in the Phoenix Metro Area, but is not limited to these geographical regions. Toll-free counseling sessions are readily offered and successfully conducted with individuals outside these areas.
