For those who are employed or self-employed, the number of hours
spent at work is considerable, and typically that work is not done in a vacuum.
Issues frequently arise that can negatively affect your job performance or
satisfaction. I will help you to clarify and constructively solve whatever
problems you are experiencing.

Succeeding at Workforce Re-entry |
A
return to the workforce after a significant absence can be frightening and
overwhelming, and often presents additional challenges unique to the re-entry
situation. I will partner with you to encourage positive movement toward the
career and position you desire. I will also provide you with the tools to
overcome barriers unique to this status, and to meet your new goal
successfully with confidence.

Small Focused Groups |
I organize and facilitate small groups of people (3 to 4) to discuss
common career concerns. This encourages participants to share
information and provide and receive support regarding such career issues
as how to make a career change or handle job loss.

I lead workshops and classes at colleges, adult education
centers, and community centers in Northern California and Arizona. By using an interactive approach, enrollees are able to
achieve greater self-awareness, receive useful information and
feedback, and foster positive career and personal growth. Samples of Topics I’ve Developed and

This class will help you take positive action toward finding a meaningful
career, whether you are new at starting a career or are a seasoned careerer
wanting to make a transition.
- How to Work Your Way through
Unemployment
If you have been laid off, or fired, or have simply chosen
to leave your job, this workshop will provide you with the tools you need to
successfully move towards a new job opportunity.
- Return to the
Workforce Successfully
For those of you who are considering a return to
the workforce after years of absence, this class will prepare you well for the
additional challenges you may face as a job seeker re-entering the workforce.
- Re-Discover Yourself: Give Meaning to Later Years
This workshop
will encourage you to take a fresh look at the roles you are currently assuming
and make any needed constructive changes, in order to make the most of your
later adult years.
