Small Focused Groups

I organize and facilitate small groups of people (3 to 4) to discuss common career concerns. This encourages participants to share information and provide and receive support regarding such career issues as how to make a career change or handle job loss.

Workshops/Classes of Career Related Topics

I lead workshops and classes at colleges, adult education centers, and community centers in Northern California and Arizona. By using an interactive approach, enrollees are able to  achieve greater self-awareness, receive useful information and feedback, and foster positive career and personal growth.

Samples of Topics I’ve Developed and Presented:

  • Discover the Work You Love and Make It Happen
This class will help you take positive action toward finding a meaningful career, whether you are new at starting a career or are a seasoned careerer wanting to make a transition.
  • How to Work Your Way through Unemployment
If you have been laid off, or fired, or have simply chosen to leave your job, this workshop will provide you with the tools you need to successfully move towards a new job opportunity.
  • Return to the Workforce Successfully
For those of you who are considering a return to the workforce after years of absence, this class will prepare you well for the additional challenges you may face as a job seeker re-entering the workforce.
  • Re-Discover Yourself: Give Meaning to Later Years
This workshop will encourage you to take a fresh look at the roles you are currently assuming and make any needed constructive changes, in order to make the most of your later adult years.
